Project Description

P. Hari Maya Gurung, along with CP Nugal Vaidya and JT Shushma Sharma, handed over a Firefighting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Set, including helmets, boots, monkey caps, and pocket knives, to Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Mayor of Tokha Municipality, on 27 August 2026 at the Tokha Municipality Office premises. The equipment was provided for the use of the municipality’s firefighting team.
This service project was jointly initiated by the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Circle and the Rotary Club of Gongabu, with special support from CP N. A. Vaidya.
The firefighting PPE sets will help protect firefighters while responding to and controlling fire hazards within the municipality, thereby contributing to the safety and well-being of the local residents.
