Dilendra Raj Shrestha

Dilendra Raj Shrestha is a resident of Napasal, Patan holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Tribhuvan University. He is happily married to Bhabani Shrestha, and they are blessed with two children, daughter Deewa and son Dishebh.
Initially he worked at the Employees Provident Fund of Nepal for 20 years and took voluntary retirement in 1994. Currently, he owns The Third World Restaurant established 27 years ago at Patan Durbar square and is Past President of Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN). He is founder President of Patan Tourism Development Organization. He was instrumental in promoting Bandipur Eco Cultural Tourism Project funded by European Union through its ëAsia Urbsí Program, adaptive reuse of traditional houses for quality tourist accommodations and developing an inner city tour in Patan.
Mr. Dilendra is a Rotarian since 1996 and is a charter member of Rotary Club of Yala. He has served RI Distric 3290 and 3292 in different capacities and as District Governor of Rotary International District 3292, Nepal and Bhutan in the year 2013-2014. Rotarian Dilendra is a recipient of the Rotary Service Above Self Award, the highest award bestowed on Rotarians by Rotary International and his spouse Bhabani is a recipient of Rotarian Spouse/Partner Service Award of RI.
He is a keen Bridge player and loves to organize Bridge Tournaments.
