District Goals Rotary Year 2023-24

Setting of annual goal has been a regular phenomenon in modern organizations.
Assistant Governors and the Committee Chairs in the District team are committed to provide necessary support to the clubs, the District team and the Club Presidents have the requisite ability, energy, persistence in achieving the goal and are fully committed to the cause of Rotary, at the end, those positive energy will take us to the goal.

- Annual Highlights
- Basic thrust on providing continuity ongoing programs and their completion
- Organize Rotary- Non-rotary interaction program in August/ September 2023 to promote Rotary’s Image
- Organize District Membership & Public Image Seminar in August 05, 2023 in the presence of Rotary International Director Anirudha Roy Choudhury/RC Sharadchand
- Organising Inter District Program in the presence of Rotary International Director Raju Subramaniam
- Public Image Program at National Level – Sport/Cycle Rally/Marathon
- National/International sister city agreement on focus areas / Rotary Friendship exchange program India and Other Countries
- Promote vocational training and training centres
- Focus on health camp on children and women
- Organize Rotaract Officers Training Seminar (ROTS)
- Mid-term review of Assistant Governors Achievement and reporting (attending physical meeting)
- Organize region-wise membership, public image, The Rotary Foundation, Intercity meetings & RYLA (Vibrant Club Workshop Region Wise)
- Year end review of Presidents and Assistant Governors and reporting in May 2024
- 16th District Conference in March 2024 Kathmandu, Nepal
- District Award & Recognition Program in June 2024, 2nd Week
- District Goal
3.1 Administrative Goals:
- Encourage all Members to enrol in My Rotary
- Review Club Annual Plans and Bylaws
- Clubs to streamline financial plans including Budget and Audit
- Each Club to have a Strategic Plan and implement
- 16th District Conference at Butwal, Nepal
3.2 Goals on Membership
- Growth in female membership upto 20% of total membership
- 10% general growth in membership
- Retention target 98%
- Formation of at least 5 new Clubs
- Support growth and retention with available resources
- Encourage Rotaract to be Rotarians
3.3 Goals on Public Image
- Each Club to enhance Public Image and awareness through visual identity by hoarding boards in their respective areas, Project sites and public events
- Conducting Marathons, Walkathons, photo exhibitions, Polio drive, ICM Seminars and Workshops on areas of focus with Rotarians and non-Rotarians participation, 4 Way Test
- Engaging Media partners in Rotary’s humanitarian service creating an impact in the Community
- Extensive use of social media platforms to promote and highlight Rotary’s activities and achievements in alliance with Rotaracts
- Upgrade and continue with the District’s website and Rotary Apps
- Enhance the system of recognizing Rotarians for their selfless effort and commitment to Rotary’s core values
- Promote Rotary Image through sports activities
3.4 Goals on Service Projects
- Carry out 35 Global Grants
- Encourage active Clubs to partner and inspire other Clubs in GG Projects
- Encourage Rotaract Clubs to do District Grants, Global Grants
- RYLA and ICMs in all Regions
- RCC Conference at Lumbini
- Involve Rotaractors and Interactors in club Projects
- Toilet project 1000 to 1500
3.5 Goals for The Rotary Foundation
- Annual Target USD 500,000
- End Polio Contribution USD 25,000
- 30% of Total Contribution to Annual Fund
- Encourage Clubs to increase AKS, Major Donor, PHS, MPHF and PHF members
- Atleast one Endowment Fund
- Promote 100% contributory club
- Other Goals
- All Clubs encouraged to participate and be eligible for Rotary Citation
- Empowering Girls: from teaching self-defence techniques and counselling to victims of violence and discrimination
- Clubs to invite non Rotarians to participate in Rotary Day Service
