Environmental Initiative (Cremation Machines & Afforestation)

- An MOU was signed by PP Pradhan on behalf of Rotary Club of Kasthamandap with the District at the Installation Ceremony of District Governor Vishnu Bahadur Karki on July 1, 2026. PP Rtn. Gyanendra Lal Pradhan officially pledged the club's support to the district for the construction of additional cremation centers across Nepal.
- Already two Crematorium projects of Butwal and Dhulikhel had been successfully completed – both projects lead by PP. Gyanendra Pradhan.
- PP Rtn. Gyanendra Lal Shrestha expressed the nationwide necessity for efficient cremation machines. Cremation Machines – reduces the need of the wood from trees by at least 70%. It also aids in controlling the pollution of rivers and surrounding by 90%. Further many infectious diseases can be avoided.
- He is actively collaborating with renowned scientist Mr. Mahabir Pun to develop cost-effective, sustainable machinery while simultaneously vetting alternative suppliers.
- He intends to plan 10,000 plus trees in the surrounding areas for sustainable use of the machines
