Project Description

Rotary Club of Central Banke’s Contribution to the Jajarkot–Rasuwa Disaster Relief

Nepalgunj: Rotary Club of Central Banke has contributed a total of NPR 359,180 to the Jajarkot–Rasuwa Disaster Relief Campaign led by RI District 3292, Nepal-Bhutan.

Of this amount, the club distributed relief materials worth NPR 259,175 to support families affected by the Jajarkot disaster, while NPR 100,005 was contributed towards disaster relief efforts in Rasuwa.

With the objective of providing essential relief materials to disaster-affected families in Jajarkot, the club consolidated support received from various sources and conducted relief activities. Furthermore, continuing its humanitarian assistance during times of disaster, the club also provided financial support to affected communities in Rasuwa.

Rotary Club of Central Banke expresses its heartfelt gratitude to RI District 3292, Nepal-Bhutan, Rotary Club of Central Lumbini, Interact Club of Central Banke, Interact Club of Bageshwari Mavi, Metro Mart, Yatra Media House, Mero Tuki Pragyalaya, and all non-Rotarian supporters who contributed directly or indirectly to the success of this humanitarian campaign.

In particular, the participation of young people and students, especially the Interact Club of Bageshwari Mavi, demonstrated an excellent example of social responsibility and humanitarian spirit in disaster relief efforts. The club stated that the support received from individuals, organizations, and communities played a significant role in making the relief campaign more effective.

Rotary Club of Central Banke has expressed its commitment to standing in solidarity with affected communities during times of disaster and continuing humanitarian service in accordance with the spirit of “Service Above Self.”

Small acts of kindness, when combined, can create great hope and relief for families affected by disasters.
