Girls Toilet

Rotary Club of Itahari has chosen a Happy School component where girls toilet is in the priority. Rotary club of Itahari has been working with different schools since its establishment for the education enhancement and to promote quality education in the public schools. The club has therefore developed good rapport with the school community including teachers and the school board. The club has also started to work towards improving education at the school by establishing school library, building girl's toilets, providing basic essential teaching materials at the schools. The club is dedicated to cover the services to human kind covering its focus areas.
This time Rotary Club of Itahari has chosen a Happy School component where girls toilet is constructed in the proposed school i.e. Laxmi Secondary School Itahari with support from Rotary International District 3292 under Basic Education and Literacy Program. The construction of a new girls’ toilet in the school has wide-ranging educational, health, social, and gender-equity impacts.
