Project Description
A free community health camp was successfully organized in the Baneshwor area by the Rotary Club of Baneshwor, in collaboration with the Purano Baneshwor Tol Basi Sanstha and the dedicated medical team from Kathmandu Medical College. The camp served over 680 individuals, primarily targeting underprivileged and sukumbasi communities, ensuring access to essential healthcare services. A wide range of departments were available on-site, including General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, Dental, Eye (Ophthalmology), and ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat).
In addition, advanced diagnostic services such as ECG, ultrasound, blood laboratory tests (including Hb, sugar, urea, uric acid), urine tests, pregnancy tests, and blood grouping were also provided free of cost to those in need at the venue itself. This initiative reaffirmed our commitment to making quality healthcare accessible to all, especially the most vulnerable sections of society.
