Project Description
The Rotary Club of Gyaneswor supported and participated in the Parkinsons Meet, 2026 organized by the Nepal Senior Care, on April 11, 2026, in Kathmandu to mark World Parkinson's Day.
The event focused on "Bridging the Care Gap" for patients in Nepal. The session was led by Consultant Neurologist Dr. Raju Poudel, who provided in-depth insights into managing the disease, early detection (tremors, stiffness, slow movement), and comprehensive care. The meeting featured discussions with patients and families and included a wellness health package presentation to attendees.
Around 150 individuals were directly benefitted by the program. The budget of the program was Rs. 5,000/-
