Project Description

Rotary Club of Lumbini Siddharthanagar organized the Teej festival in a warm and vibrant atmosphere, highlighting both cultural tradition and Rotary fellowship. The event was presided over by the Club President and graced by Chief Guest Devi Gurung, who praised the club for promoting unity through cultural celebrations. The program was coordinated by Rotarian Bishnu Thapa and attended by 30 enthusiastic members.
The gathering served as a platform for Rotarians and their families to connect, celebrate traditions, and share the festive spirit of Teej. In her remarks, Chief Guest Gurung emphasized that such events play a vital role in fostering social harmony and strengthening the commitment to service within the community. The President also extended appreciation to all present, noting that cultural activities enrich Rotary’s values by building stronger bonds among members.
The evening was filled with traditional Teej songs, dances, and refreshments, which added to the festive mood and encouraged active participation from everyone. The program successfully blended joy, cultural heritage, and the spirit of togetherness, leaving participants with cherished memories. Overall, the celebration reflected Rotary’s dedication to preserving tradition while nurturing fellowship and collective service.
