Workshop on Inclusive Education and Gender Responsive School Environment (TaRL)

During the month of April 2026, RC Yala successfully organized 7 workshops on "Inclusive Education and Gender Responsive School Environment" for teachers, school staff, and SMC members from various schools under the Global Grant Project – Teaching at Right Level (TaRL). TaRL is an approach that focuses on assessing students based on their learning levels and grouping them accordingly to deliver targeted instruction that improves foundational skills effectively.

During the workshop, teachers, school staff, and Rotarians engaged in insightful discussions and hands-on activities. The sessions provided fresh perspectives and valuable knowledge on fostering inclusivity and promoting gender sensitivity within educational settings.
School representatives expressed their commitment to applying the knowledge gained to strengthen their School Improvement Plan (SIP), ensuring a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
