Project Description
On 9th October 2025, as part of our ongoing service to children with cerebral palsy, the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square organized a food distribution program for children enrolled in the special educational program at the Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy (SGCP) in Dhapakhel, Nepal.
The initiative aimed to promote good nutrition and healthy eating habits, supporting the physical well-being and overall development of children with cerebral palsy.
Rotaractors from Rotaract Club of Patan Durbar Square and the Spouse Group of the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square also actively participated, contributing to the joy and success of the program.
During the program, the club provided a nutritious and well-balanced lunch for 30 children, consisting of rice, lentil soup, seasonal vegetables, and minced chicken curry. The meal was carefully planned to provide a proper balance of protein, carbohydrates, and vitamins, essential for growing children, especially those with physical and developmental challenges. The children thoroughly enjoyed the delicious lunch, and their smiles, laughter, and joyful expressions filled the room, creating an atmosphere of warmth, happiness, and togetherness.
