Project Description
On 8th December, the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Gurans, jointly organized a sanitary pad–making training at Kopila Nepa. The program brought together BSW students from AIMS College and mothers of children with Cerebral Palsy, fostering an inclusive space for learning, sharing, and empowerment.
The training was conducted with the valuable support of the Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy and Kopila Nepa, with a total of 30 participants. The session focused on improving menstrual hygiene awareness, addressing myths and stigma related to menstruation, and promoting safe, affordable, and sustainable menstrual hygiene practices.
Through hands-on training, participants gained practical skills that support personal health, dignity, and confidence, while also opening opportunities for small-scale income generation.
