Project Description

Rotary Club of Bhaktapur in collaboration with Kathmandu Circle successfully conducted a Distribution and Support Program on 4th December 2025 at Samanta Ko Lagi Aawaj, an organization dedicated to providing shelter, education, and care for visually impaired and blind individuals and children. The program was organized in response to a support request from the organization for essential daily living materials.
During the event, food items, blankets, and bed mattresses were distributed to support the beneficiaries residing at the center. Rotarians, Kathmandu Circle representatives, and volunteers actively participated in the distribution program and interacted closely with the children and individuals living at the shelter. The initiative aimed to provide comfort, care, and encouragement to beneficiaries while supporting the organization’s ongoing humanitarian efforts.
The program highlighted the importance of inclusion, compassion, and community support for persons with disabilities, especially individuals with visual impairments who often face social and economic challenges. Participants appreciated the meaningful initiative and expressed commitment toward continuing support for vulnerable communities in the future.
