Project Description
A Free Health Camp was successfully organized on 6 July 2026 (22 Ashadh 2083) at Sundarbasti, Bharatpur Metropolitan City–14, Chitwan through the joint initiative of the Spouse Club of Rotary Club of Chitwan and Shree College of Technology, with technical support from National City Hospital Ltd.
The program was chaired by Rtn. Gehendra Man Shrestha, President of Rotary Club of Chitwan, and was graced by Ms. Manju Mahato Moktan, Ward Member of Bharatpur Metropolitan City–14, as the Chief Guest.
In his remarks, Rtn. Gehendra Man Shrestha stated that Rotary Club of Chitwan has been serving the community continuously for the past 34 years through initiatives in education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and community development. He emphasized that health camps like this play a significant role in promoting health awareness and improving access to basic healthcare services within the community.
During the camp, more than 93 local residents received free blood sugar (diabetes) and blood pressure screenings. In addition, Consultant Physician Dr. Suman Dawadi and Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Baral from National City Hospital Ltd. provided free medical examinations and health consultations. Necessary medicines were also distributed free of charge to patients requiring treatment.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Ms. Manju Mahato Moktan appreciated the continuous contribution of Rotary Club of Chitwan toward improving community health, education, and social development. She acknowledged that such service-oriented programs directly benefit local residents and encouraged the continuation of similar initiatives in the future.
