We are proud to share that our club successfully completed its Service Project — a Cleanliness Campaign titled “वन, जंगल तथा धार्मिक स्थलको सरसफाइ राखौं, सभ्य नागरिकको पहिचान यही हो” in two phases. The program was jointly organized by Rotary Club of Kavre-Banepa, Rotary Club of Kavre Valley and Rotary E-Club of Namobuddha, Bagmati with support from Banepa Municipality, Rotaract Club of Banepa and Rotaract Club of Kavre Valley.
The first phase was conducted on 7th August 2025,which focused on cleaning the surrounding areas of the sacred Gosaikunda Temple, promoting hygiene, environmental awareness, and community participation.
The second phase was conducted the day after Janai Purnima, i.e. 10th August where participants actively collected plastic waste, garbage, and other debris from the temple surroundings. The initiative also helped raise awareness among locals regarding the importance of maintaining cleanliness in community and cultural heritage areas.
Both events took place at the Gosaisthan Temple premises with the participation of club members, collaborating organizations, and local volunteers. The main aim was to promote environmental cleanliness and preserve the sanctity of religious and natural sites.
