Project Description
During the holy month of Shrawan, the Rotary Club of Damak, together with Rotaract Club of Damak and Interact Club of JEMS, jointly organized a devotional social service campaign titled “Shiva Utsav” at Dhaneshwor Temple, Damak–5.
For four consecutive Mondays, the team served tea, fruits, and prasad to devotees, directly benefiting more than 1,000 individuals. Bhajans and kirtans were also performed, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for worshippers.
The campaign was made possible through major support from Usha Chapagain Foundation, RC Furniture, and Shubha Impex. Special contributions came from the foundation’s patron and Past President Rtn. Sandeep “Dipu” Chapagain, as well as from current President Rtn. Keshav Agrawal’s establishments — RC Furniture and Shubha Impex.
On the concluding Monday, the Dhaneshwor Temple Preservation Committee collaborated with the clubs and honored Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact representatives with certificates of appreciation.
This initiative stood as an inspiring example of service on a religious occasion, carrying forward the message of social responsibility and community harmony.
