Rasuwa Flood Relief

The relief initiative was launched following approval from the club leadership, with members and volunteers promptly mobilized to generate resources and coordinate emergency support for disaster-affected communities. Within a short period, funds and in-kind contributions were collected and utilized to procure essential food items, snacks, drinking water, medical supplies, hygiene products, sanitary materials, foam mattresses, disposable plates, spoons, bowls, and cups from local vendors in the Swoyambhu, Sitapaila, and Bafal areas. Transportation was arranged through taxis, and volunteers coordinated the collection, packing, and delivery of relief materials to the Swoyambhu Community Learning Centre. Additional used clothing was also collected through volunteers' personal and family networks to support affected families. On the third day, volunteers from the club and visiting Rotaract clubs gathered to organize and package the relief materials, which were subsequently handed over to the Nepal Army for secure transportation and distribution to disaster-affected areas. The initiative reflected strong teamwork, inter-club collaboration, community solidarity, and a collective commitment to humanitarian service and rapid disaster response within District 3292.
