Adult Literacy(Ongoing)

We conducted an Adult Literacy Program at Shree Bal Laxmi Primary School , Jahada-3 Hatibanda, Morang , focusing on 32 women from a remote area who were interested in learning. The project will run for 90 days, with a dedicated female teacher helping them learn basic reading and writing in Nepali .

The estimated project budget is NPR 40,000. Learning materials including notebooks, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and Rotary embroidery cloth bags were provided to all participants. Assessments will be conducted every 15 days to monitor their learning progress. At the completion of the project, tokens of appreciation will be presented to the teacher and participating women for their dedication and hard work.

The project aims to improve literacy, confidence, and independence among the women and create a positive impact within their families and the wider community.
