Project Description
The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu, in partnership with Shanti Gyan Satsang Bhajan Mandal, organized a large-scale blood donation program at the Radha Krishna Temple premises in Dillibazar under the theme “Blood Donation is Life Donation.” It is an ongoing program that will be coordinated once a month for this rota year.
The event was actively supported by several organizations, including GMP Timilsina Foundation, Sahaj Foundation, Kalibhakta Foundation, Kalpana Foundation, and the Rotaract Club of Dillibazar. Club President Prem Kumar Oli, Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, Rakeshdev Pant, and Rotaract members Prasis Poudel and Dikshant Nepal personally participated by donating blood. President Wali highlighted that the club has planned 12 blood donation events for the year, establishing a tradition of organizing such programs regularly on the second Friday of every month. The campaign witnessed the participation of supporting organizations’ presidents, Rotary Club officials, local social workers, and numerous donors, reflecting strong community involvement. Overall, the event not only promoted the life-saving importance of blood donation but also reinforced the Rotary Club’s dedication to serving the community through consistent and impactful health initiatives.
