Disability Support and Health Assistance

A service initiative focused on supporting children with disabilities through mobility aids, assistive equipment, and essential health-related supplies. On the occasion of 6th charter day of Rotary club of Gyaneswor.
• Rotary Club of Gyaneswor provided essential support to the Village Disability Special School at Changunarayan. The assistance included 2 wheelchairs, 2 walkers, 4 sets of crutches, 4 blind sticks, 3 commode chairs, along with medicines and other health-support items. The project was designed to address the practical mobility and healthcare needs of children and students with disabilities.
• Total expenditure documented through the bills and related expenses: NPR 50,460.
• The beneficiaries were children and students with disabilities receiving education, care, and support
services at the Village Disability Special School, Changunarayan.
• The support provided essential mobility and assistive equipment that can help improve the students’ independence, safety, and day-to-day mobility. The medicines and health-related supplies also strengthened the school’s ability to respond to basic healthcare needs. Through this initiative, Rotary Club of Gyaneswor contributed to creating a more
supportive and accessible environment for children with disabilities, reflecting Rotary’s commitment to meaningful and inclusive community service.
