Library Project Handover Ceremony

Rotary Club of Damak, in collaboration with the Interact Club of Jhapa Model English School (JMES), organized a Library Project Handover Ceremony at Suryodaya Adharbhut Bidhyalaya, Gauradaha-3, Jhapa. The project aimed to promote reading habits and strengthen learning opportunities among school students.

As part of the project, 350 age-appropriate books in both English and Nepali were handed over to the school. In addition, 8 racks were provided to establish mini-libraries for different classes, making reading materials more accessible to students within their classrooms.

The project was coordinated by Rtn. Youbraj Niroula and implemented with a total budget of NRs. 1,00,000.
The initiative is expected to support students in developing regular reading habits, enhancing creativity, expanding knowledge, and broadening their horizons. The availability of diverse reading materials within classrooms will also encourage students to explore beyond their textbooks and make learning more engaging.
