Project Description
Rotary Club of Butwal Downtown, in coordination with RCC Devdaha Khaireni and Shree Cheli Agriculture Cooperative Ltd., inaugurated a three-month free Basic Sewing and Cutting Training program for women in Devdaha–7, Khaireni, on 5 September 2026.
The training commenced on 6 September and will continue until 10 December 2026, with a total budget of NPR 48,000. A total of 30 women will benefit from this skill-development initiative.
The program aims to equip women with practical sewing and cutting skills to promote self-employment, income generation, and financial independence. By providing opportunities for skill development, the initiative seeks to enhance women's economic security and help them build a sustainable future for themselves and their families.
This initiative reflects Rotary Club of Butwal Downtown's continued commitment to women's empowerment, vocational training, and sustainable community development under the Rotary theme Create Lasting Impact.
