Project Description
As part of the World Heart Day 2025 celebration, a CPR Training Session was organized on 27th September 2025 at Rotary Sadan, Dharan. The program was jointly coordinated by Nepal Heart Foundation – Sunsari District, Interact District 3292 Zone 1, Mahila Ekta Manch Nepal, KHDC, Rotary Club of Dharan, Rotary Club of Dharan Ghopa, and Rotary Club of Dharan Foothills. The training was conducted by Dr. Siddhartha Koirala, Additional Professor, Department of Anaesthesiology, BPKIHS. Through a highly interactive and practical demonstration, he equipped participants — especially the Interactors — with vital knowledge on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), a lifesaving skill essential during cardiac emergencies. The session highlighted the importance of timely intervention and how quick action can mean the difference between life and death. For the young Interactors, learning CPR was not only a personal skill but also a community responsibility, as they can now guide and respond effectively in times of need.
