Project Description
31st August 2025
Embracing the saying that health is wealth, a free eye check-up camp was organized at Bhutandevi Secondary School, Hetauda 4. The camp was organized by the Rotary Club of Hetauda in collaboration with Bhutandevi Secondary School, Bhutandevi Alumni Association and Hetauda Community Eye Hospital.
The camp included eye check-ups for students from classes 1 to 8. A team of eye specialists examined the vision of each student and advised students with possible problems for further tests or treatment. Some students were found to have minor vision problems and were advised to need glasses.
About 624 students received services through the camp. Many parents and teachers welcomed such programs and urged the school administration to continue conducting such health-related programs in the future.
Such free eye check-up camps have played an important role in increasing health awareness among students and in identifying and early treating vision-related problems. The school community has come to the conclusion that it is extremely important to continue running such programs.
