Project Description
Throughout the month of Shrawan, on every Monday, Rotary Club of Damak, Rotaract Club of Damak, and Interact Club of JEMS — jointly organized a special social service program titled “Shiva Utsav” at the Dhaneshwor Temple, Damak–5.
For four consecutive Mondays, we served tea, fruits, and prasad to the devotees visiting the temple, benefiting over 1,000 devotees. The program also created a devotional atmosphere with bhajans and kirtans.
This campaign received major support from Usha Chapagain Foundation, RC Furniture, and Shubha Impex. Special contributions came from the foundation’s patron and our Past President, Mr. Sandeep ‘Dipu’ Chapagain, as well as from our current President, Mr. Keshav Agrawal’s business establishments — RC Furniture and Shubha Impex.
On the final Monday of Shrawan, the Dhaneshwor Temple Preservation Committee also extended its support in successfully conducting the event. The committee expressed its appreciation by presenting certificates of recognition to our representatives from Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact.
Through this initiative, we presented a service-inspired example on a religious occasion, delivering the message of our social responsibility to the community.
