Project Description

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with Rotary District 3292 completed the construction of Girls friendly toilet at Bal Shiksha Secondary School in Banke.

The project was implementing by Social Awareness Concerned Forum (SAC) worth of NRs.525,735 benefiting 385 students.

Access to clean and safe sanitation is a basic human right and a crucial aspect of a child’s health and dignity. By supporting this project, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu is not only addressing an immediate need but also reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to community service, health, and child welfare.

This initiative reflects Rotary’s core areas of focus-especially Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), as well as Supporting Education. The Club is proud to contribute towards project. The new sanitary pad disposal machine was also installed in the toilet. President Nominee Keshav Raj Gyawali attended the handover program.
