Project Description
On August 7th, 2025, the Rotary Club of Kavre Valley successfully hosted Nepali Film MOHAR movie screening at Suvakamana Hall, Banepa, in support of a noble cause. The featured film, MOHAR, was proudly produced by our very own Rotarian Chumban Jung Shahi Thakuri, whose dedication to both cinema and social service continues to inspire the community.
This meaningful event was more than just a film showing served as a celebration of local talent and Rotary’s ongoing commitment to social welfare. In recognition of their outstanding contributions to Nepali cinema, the club had the honor of welcoming and felicitating the film's lead artists:
• Paul Shah
• Benisha Hamal
• Niti Shah
Each guest was respectfully welcomed with a traditional Khada and a Token of Love, expressing the club’s gratitude for their presence and support of the cause.
The program saw enthusiastic participation from Rotarians, their families, local community members, and youth, making it both a successful fundraiser and a culturally enriching experience.
This event exemplifies how Rotary can blend entertainment, engagement, and service, creating a positive impact in the community while celebrating Nepali art and talent.
