Project Description
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Central Banke and with the support of the Basic Education & Literacy Committee, RID 3292, successfully conducted the 56th batch of ICT Training for Public School Teachers on January 9–10, 2026.
The training was organized for 30 teachers representing 23 public schools from Basgadhi Municipality, Bardiya District.
With the completion of this batch, a total of 1,115 teachers from 649 public schools have benefitted from this ICT training program to date.
ICT training plays a vital role in empowering public school teachers by enhancing their digital skills, improving classroom teaching methods, and enabling the effective use of technology in lesson planning, content delivery, assessment, and communication. It helps teachers integrate digital tools into daily teaching practices, promotes interactive and student-centered learning, and better prepares both teachers and students to meet the demands of modern education in an increasingly digital world. The budget of the project is NRs. 144,000.
