The Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers successfully organized a Free Eye Camp on Tuesday, February 18, 2026, at Gokarna Forest Resort, Kathmandu, with the technical support of Matrika Eye Camp. The initiative reflected the club's ongoing commitment to community health and service.
The camp welcomed a diverse group of beneficiaries including hotel staff and their families, golfers and club members, caddies and ground staff, nearby community residents and members of the general public. A total of 109 individuals were screened during the camp, making it a highly impactful community health initiative.
The event was a testament to the power of collaborative service, bringing together the resources of the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers and the expertise of Matrika Eye Camp to provide quality eye care free of charge to those who needed it most.
