Project Description
25th July 2025, the Rotary Club of Hetauda completed a tree plantation program at RCC Handikhola, Manahari Rural Municipality on Friday. 100 fruit plants of different varieties were planted in the homes of each member of the microcredit program run by RCC Handikhola.
The Rotary Club of Hetauda organized this tree plantation today as part of the Rotary District’s plan to plant 50,000 plants in a single day on Shrawan 10, 2082.
On 26th July 2025, a special tree plantation is planned at Shree Chandrodaya Secondary School, Kamane, Hetauda-8 with the slogan “Let’s unite in environmental protection.”
The program was inaugurated by Rotary Club of Hetauda President Pramesh Pradhan. He said that such programs are important in environmental protection and expressed his commitment to continue to prioritize tree plantation in the future.
Local varieties of fruit trees and plants of medicinal importance were selected for the plantation. After the program, participants discussed the issue of making the local community active in the protection and care of the plants.
