26th July 2025 - Tree plantation program completed at Chandrodaya Secondary School, Kamane-8

26th July 2025, With the slogan of “Let’s unite in environmental protection”, a tree plantation program has been organized through Rotary clubs across Nepal. Under this campaign, clubs in various places have contributed to creating a green environment by planting trees in their respective areas.

In this context, the Rotary Club of Hetauda organized this tree plantation as part of the Rotary District’s plan to plant 50,000 saplings in a single day on 26th July 2025. A special tree plantation was completed at Shree Chandrodaya Secondary School, Kamane, Hetauda 8.

On Saturday morning, in the presence of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Meena Kumari Lama, 200 saplings of 10 species including mango, litchi, amba, kathahar, avocado, lemon, chiuri, jamun, neem, and tejpat were planted. She stated that such programs are important in environmental conservation and expressed her commitment to continue to prioritize tree plantation in the future as well.
