Dear Fellow Rotarians,
As Nepal bids farewell to its vibrant festivals and prepares for the festive spirit of Christmas and the dawn of 2025, we welcome the crisp chill of November with enthusiasm. Amid the changing seasons and celebrations, the Rotary Clubs of District 3292 remain steadfast in their dedication to service, undertaking impactful projects across communities. This November, District 3292 marked a significant milestone with The Rotary Foundation Seminar and Recognition held on November 9, 2024. This event celebrated the monthly theme, highlighting its importance within the Rotary community. A special feature article by District Rotary Foundation Committee (DRFC) Chair Rtn. Kumud Tripathy provided insights into the contributions of the past four years and shared updates on the goals and achievements for the Rota Year 2024-25.
This issue of the GML (Governor's Monthly Letter) shines a spotlight on key district activities, including the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), an Awareness Program on Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome, and the Region IV Vibrant Club Workshop. Additionally, it highlights the Rotary Club of Bagmati's transformative Global Grant initiative.
From July to November, an impressive 71% of our clubs reported their projects and activities, a testament to the dynamic spirit of RID3292. We are committed to showcasing stories from all 161 clubs, ensuring that every effort is recognized and celebrated. The GML & Publication Team sincerely thanks all Rotary Clubs for their collaboration in bringing this 40-page issue to life. Your support enables us to share these inspiring stories widely. As we transition into December, focusing on Disease Prevention and Treatment, I am confident that Rotary Clubs across the district will continue their efforts to foster healthier and happier communities. I urge club leaders to share their impactful initiatives with the GML team, amplifying our collective influence on a global scale. Stay warm, spread kindness, and cherish the spirit of giving.
Wishing you all a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
Yours in Rotary Service,
Rtn Gautam Shrestha Chair, 2024-25
