Dear Fellow Rotarians,
Greetings!
GML continues to serve as a dynamic platform that informs, inspires, and connects every member of the Rotary family. Each edition is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the true spirit of Rotary—showcasing service, innovation, and compassion while highlighting the collective strength, dedication, and unity of our community. More than a compilation of activities, GML stands as a testament to Rotary’s enduring values and unwavering commitment to creating meaningful, lasting change. Through its pages, we celebrate fellowship, amplify the voices of our members, and reaffirm our shared purpose—to serve humanity, lead with integrity, and build a world where peace and dignity can flourish.
February, observed globally as Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution Month, brought renewed attention to Rotary’s mission of fostering harmony, understanding, and stability. This issue highlights the remarkable efforts of clubs across District 3292, featuring the Rotary Peace Fellowship, key district events, and impactful activities that embody our dedication to peace. Notable features include The Sun Never Sets in Rotary, the celebration of the 121st Rotary Day, insights from the Intercity Meeting, District Governor’s Club Visit Reports, Assistant Governors’ reflections, and diverse club initiatives that align with Rotary’s Areas of Focus and district priorities. The cover page beautifully represents this month’s theme, enhanced with the creative support of AI.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all Rotarians. Your commitment, passion, and service make these accomplishments possible and continue to inspire a more peaceful and hopeful world.
Yours in Rotary,
Rtn. Er. Bidur Timalsina
