Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Greetings!

GML continues to serve as a dynamic platform that informs, inspires, and connects every member of the Rotary family. Each edition is thoughtfully curated to reflect the true spirit of Rotary—showcasing service, innovation, and compassion while highlighting the collective strength, dedication, and unity of our community. More than a record of activities, GML stands as a testament to Rotary’s enduring values and its commitment to creating meaningful, lasting change. Through its pages, we celebrate fellowship, amplify the voices of our members, and reaffirm our shared purpose—to serve humanity, lead with integrity, and build a world where peace and dignity can flourish.

April, observed as Environment Month, brought focused attention to Rotary’s commitment to protecting our planet and promoting sustainable practices. This issue highlights the impactful efforts of clubs across District 3292, featuring initiatives waste management campaigns, climate awareness programs, and conservation efforts that strengthened communities .

A key highlight of the month was the District Governor’s official club visits, which fostered stronger engagement, inspired members, and reinforced alignment with Rotary’s goals and values. These visits provided meaningful opportunities for dialogue, recognition, and renewed motivation across clubs.

This edition also proudly marks a historic milestone for District 3292 with the selection of Basudev Golyan as the Rotary International Director Nominee—the first from Nepal and Bhutan. His remarkable achievement was celebrated through a grand felicitation program, reflecting the district’s growing leadership on the global Rotary stage.

Another major highlight featured in this issue is the 18th District Conference, held from April 17–19, which brought together Rotarians in a vibrant gathering of fellowship, learning, and inspiration. The conference served as a platform to exchange ideas, celebrate achievements, and strengthen our shared vision for impactful service. Reflecting its significance, this edition’s cover page proudly showcases moments captured during the conference, symbolizing unity, energy, and collective purpose.

In addition, the issue presents a wide range of club activities and service initiatives from across the district, demonstrating the diversity and depth of Rotary’s work in areas such as environment, health, education, and community development. These stories reflect the dedication and compassion of Rotarians in creating sustainable and meaningful change at the grassroots level.
