Dear Fellow Rotarians,

As we publish the final issue of the Governor’s Monthly Letter (GML) for this Rotary Year 2024-25, we celebrate not just the completion of another chapter but also the collective impact we’ve made through shared stories, insights, and service. Each edition of the

GML has been a testament to the dedication of Rotarians across our district—showcasing inspiring achievements, thought-provoking ideas, and the unwavering spirit of our community. As we close this cycle, let us take pride in how far we’ve come and look forward with renewed energy to the opportunities ahead.

None of this would have been possible without the visionary leadership of District Governor Rajendra Man Sherchan, whose trust empowered creativity and innovation. My deepest gratitude to my brother Gaurav Shrestha, who guided me in mastering design tools like Photoshop, and the Information & Technology Chair Rtn. Chhongba Sherpa, whose support from the first issue to the
last has been invaluable. Your wisdom and suggestions have shaped these publications in countless ways. I’m equally grateful to

District Secretary Ashok Nath Pyakuryal and Additional Secretary Ashok Kapali for their unwavering support and flexibility in bringing this publication to life.

From July 2024 to June 2025, the GML connected all 150 clubs through timely updates, inspiring narratives, and impactful reports. Regional participation shone brightly: Region I (17.96%), Region II (17.81%), and Region VII (17.66%) led the way, with meaningful contributions from Region

III (15.72%), Region V (14.37%), Region VI (12.28%), and Region IV (4.19%). Together, you’ve made the GML a vibrant chronicle of Rotary’s mission in action.

To every Rotarian who contributed stories, feedback, or encouragement—thank you. Your engagement has strengthened our fellowship and amplified the power of service. As we pass the baton to the next Rotary Year, let’s carry forward this momentum with even greater zeal.
